Feeling those Vibrations

George and his best pal Tom were headed back from a fun weekend of riding dirt bikes. Both were excitedly telling their version of who landed the best jump and tricks. Tom was rating George’s latest tricks and offering suggestions when George began staring at his hands that were on the steering wheel.  George couldn’t figure out why his memory seemed so real and vivid. He swore he could still feel the handlebars vibrating in his hands.

Tom thought perhaps George had spent too much time in the sun and was hallucinating.

When Tom reached over and put his hand on the wheel to keep them from hitting a piece of debris in the road, he felt a vibration in the steering wheel.

George wasn’t imaging things or dreaming. His car had developed a really bad vibration in the steering wheel. Tom had George pull over to the side of the road so he could perform a quick little test to confirm his suspicion.

After the car came to a complete stop, Tom went to the front of the car and pushed down on the front end and then released it.

Tom and George started to get dizzy after the 7th bounce. Tom knew the car needed new shocks. He quickly pulled out his phone and called his friends at Lombardi Auto Body. Lou and his crew were able to get George in for an appointment to test and replace the shocks the next day.
